I'm writing to express interest in transitioning from my current internship to a full-time role on the Embedded Systems Research team. Over the course of my internship, I've worked hands-on with Arduino, ESP8266/ESP32, and sensor/actuator integration, alongside AI/ML work — including architecting the AI layer (OpenAI function-calling, Redis state management, webhook handling) for a WhatsApp booking chatbot and building a credit-scoring ML model. I've also prototyped IoT systems for environmental and industrial monitoring, with a growing interest in TinyML and edge AI.
This experience has only deepened my interest in growing with the team long-term, and I'd welcome the opportunity to take on greater ownership as a full-time member of the engineering team.
