I was contracted by a non-profit group to analyze results of the membership survey, and this is my experience. Based on the survey, I was in a better position to prepare a detailed analysis of that highlighted areas of interests for the organization.
I also recommended the concrete action plan on how the non-profit group can harness the results of the survey. Among those action steps it was needed to create specific promotional materials to attract more members, to use the results of the survey and to determine with whom one should share these materials.
Also, I compiled a list of best practices and useful resources that the organization could employ to improve the chances of success of its data-driven projects. I even went the extra step to avail them more resources which they can consult whenever they need to make a decision using their data.
At the end of the project, the members of the non-profit group expressed great satisfaction with the results of the study. They were able to get the best information about their membership and come up with good campaigns for the reinforcement of their membership. The insights and the general direction of engagement and success was what I was able to provide them through the analysis of their data.
